The location was extremely convenient to the points of attractions. We walked to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Topkapi Palace. Loved the shopping and the bargaining at the shops lining the streets as well. Grandson was an expert at it at the end of our trip. lol The Rooms manager, Mr Serkan Duygan surprised us by sending a birthday cake to our room for my grandson who celebrated his 14th birthday during our stay at this hotel.. A very sweet and thoughtful gesture indeed, and we were absolutely appreciative of it. The rooms were clean and fresh. We were taken care of on a daily basis, with clean towels and bottled water. Breakfast was good, wholesome and had a variety. The Hamam at the hotel was fabulous. Would definitely recommend it. We will definitely go back to stay at Double Tree Hilton Istanbul -Old Town.

Location is perfect, in front of the hotel there is a tram you can take up to Dolombahce palace and on the last station there is funicular for Taxim square. Hotel is in the middle of old town and all-important places you would like to visit is in walking distance, grand bazar is approx. 7-10min walk, Hagia Sophia is aprox. 25 min walk or you can take a tram, also tram will take you to the harbour where you can take a tour of Bosporus or ferry to the Asian part of Istanbul. Hotel is very nice, and staff is excellent there is nothing to complain. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everybody makes you feel as special quest. Special thanks go to Mr. Murat.

I like how the staff treated me - all of them. From arrival to departure. I felt welcomed and treated as an important guest even though my stay was very short. They were very accommodating with my request to leave my luggage for a few hours after my check-out and my need to charge my cellphone, while waiting for my taxi. I was assisted to my taxi and I really felt their service is genuinely done by staff who are passionate about what they do. Another thing I like most is their location. It is walking distance to many landmarks like the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sofia. If given another opportunity, I plan to stay in this property again.

Although in the centre of Fatih, a busy area of Istanbul, the hotel is very quiet and you do not hear any outside noise. The hotel is clean, facilities are good and the breakfast outstanding and full of choices. The staff are really very kind, courteous and ready to help with a smile in their faces. I wish to use the opportunity to thank all the staff, especially Mr Yikdiray Şal at the reception who helped us a lot. He made our stay much better and we are grateful to him with helping us with the rooms. We wish to thank Nazli and Merve at the kitchen/restaurant with service they provided- such a lovely, kind and smiley young ladies.

Location is pretty good, main sightseeing available within walking distance ~10 min. Were were the construction work in front of hotel, so it's not reachable by car fully, only by adjacent street. The construction work happened during the night only. I can't say the the rooms in the hotel are soundproof, it sounds like you were sitting in the room with the open window despite the fact it was closed. Air conditioner was also working very weird, it was mainly producing heat by itself not when you were needed.
